This Privacy Policy explains what information Sucomail ("we," "us") collects when you use sucomail.com and sucomail.me (the "Service"), and how it is used.
1. No Information Collected to Create a Mailbox
You do not need to register, sign in, or provide any personal information to generate a disposable mailbox. Mailbox addresses you create, along with app preferences like theme and settings, are stored only in your own browser's local storage — never on our servers.
2. Abuse-Prevention Data
To keep the Service available and prevent abuse of our endpoints (for example, automated mass-creation of mailboxes or denial-of-service attempts), we may log basic technical data such as your IP address and device/browser information when you interact with our API. This data is used strictly for security and abuse-prevention purposes and is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.
3. Email Content
Messages sent to a Sucomail address are stored temporarily so they can be displayed to whoever holds that address. All messages are automatically and permanently deleted after 15 days. We do not read, scan, or use the content of your messages for advertising or profiling purposes.
4. Cookies
Sucomail uses a single essential cookie, set only if you unlock Developer Mode, to remember that authorization for 30 days. This cookie is secure, cannot be read by JavaScript, and is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not run any advertising on the Service.
5. No Advertising, No Third-Party Trackers
Sucomail does not display ads and does not share data with advertising networks. We do not use third-party analytics scripts that track you across the web.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent any data. Limited technical data (such as IP logs kept for abuse prevention) may be processed by our hosting infrastructure providers solely to operate the Service, or disclosed if required by law.
7. Data Retention Summary
- Mailbox addresses: stored only in your browser, never on our servers.
- Received emails: deleted automatically after 15 days.
- Abuse-prevention logs (IP/device data): retained only as long as reasonably necessary to protect the Service.
- Developer Mode cookie: expires automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you turn Developer Mode off.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
